Professor Feng Han is hosting the digital cultural heritage: FUTURE VISIONS A Landscape Perspective 2019 conference in Shanghai at Tongji University, where she is Director of the Department of Landscape Architecture, College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

 

She is the current Vice President of ICOMOS-IFLA International Scientific Committee on Cultural Landscapes, an expert member of WCPA of IUCN, the founder and Chair of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture Cultural Landscape Committee, and an expert member of World Heritage Committee of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China.

Dr Chen Yang is hosting the digital cultural heritage: FUTURE VISIONS A Landscape Perspective 2019 conference in Shanghai at Tongji University, where he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the College of Architecture and Urban Planning.

 

He is an expert member of CIPA Heritage Documentation, a contributing member of ICOMOS-IFLA International Scientific Committee on Cultural landscapes, and the Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture Cultural Landscape Committee. For more than 10 years, his research and practices have focused on the digital conservation and interpretation of heritage landscapes in different cultural contexts.

Associate Professor Mario Santana Quintero

Mario Santana-Quintero, is a keynote speaker at the digital cultural heritage: FUTURE VISIONS A Landscape Perspective 2019 conference in Shanghai at Tongji University.

 

Mario is an associate professor at department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Carleton University. He is also the Director of the NSERC Create program Heritage Engineering based at the Carleton immersive Media Studio Lab (CIMS). He is also a guest professor at the Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation (University of Leuven).

 

Along with his academic activities, he serves as Vice President of the International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and he is the past president of the ICOMOS Scientific Committee on Heritage Documentation (CIPA).

PROFESSOR SARAH KENDERDINE
EPFL, SWITZERLAND

Professor Sarah Kenderdine was a Keynote speaker at the 2017 digital cultural heritage: FUTURE VISIONS London conference hosted at University College London, a collaboration of The University of Queensland and UCL.

Sarah Kenderdine researches at the forefront of interactive and immersive experiences for galleries, libraries, archives and museums.

In widely exhibited installation works, she has amalgamated cultural heritage with new media art practice, especially in the realms of interactive cinema, augmented reality and embodied narrative.

Sarah is currently Professor of Digital Museology in the College of Humanities at EPFL, Switzerland.

NANJING UNIVERSITY, CHINA

Professor Andong Lu was a Keynote speaker at the 2017 digital cultural heritage: FUTURE VISIONS London conference hosted at University College London, a collaboration of The University of Queensland and UCL.

Andong Lu is Professor in Architecture and Urbanism, Nanjing University and Executive Chief-editor of the Architectural Journal (International Edition), China. He completed PhD at Darwin College, University of Cambridge, and was a Fellow of Wolfson College.

Tim Williams was a Keynote speaker at the 2017 digital cultural heritage: FUTURE VISIONS London conference hosted at University College London, a collaboration of The University of Queensland and UCL.

Tim Williams is Reader in Silk Roads Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. He is also Degree Programme coordinator for the MA Managing Archaeological Sites & the MA Urban Archaeology, Director of the Ancient Merv Project (Turkmenistan), Member of ICOMOS and the International Scientific Committee on Archaeological Heritage Management (ICAHM), Academic Board member of the Institute for Field Research.
